Hidayah, 9, completed her homework and ample of free time during weekend means hours of playing The Sims 2 computer game on her brother's PC. "Don't disturb me!" she said. Playing with dolls or "housy-housy" is "so-yesterday" for the tech-savvy millennium kids of today.
Hmm...masa umur 9 tahun dulu, game yg aku main Wolf3d, Doom ngan Star Wars: X-Wing (just to name a few n___n;)...as a substitude for main combat-combat or polisentri bagi org zaman-zaman dulu...heh...
budak-budak sekarang... ada Gears of War, Battlefield 2042, C&C3...GTA...
gaming is getting bigger and bigger...and graphical too...will the children of tommorow have a hard time distinguishing what's real or virtual?

Crit session bersama CS...

Last night I went to Studio CS for a crit session with their photographers. Here are some pointers I got during the crit session.
Some other tips:
- Creative posing with the subjects - For outdoor portraits, communicate your ideas with the subjects and try out creative poses and angles.
-Close-up portraiture - Watch out for excess fat under the chin. 3/4 view makes them look chubbier. For chubby subjects, shoot the profile or from the front and ask them to chin down a bit.
I need to practice PR skills and make quick creative decisions actively on the next shoot... n___n;

Semalam aku follow Saiful Nang and Udey Ismail utk shoot wedding. It's a great chance for me to learn from the two of them. Being a first timer shooting kat a non-family member wedding mmg challenge for me but I found that the challenges provide me with new, fresh eyes to "Moment, Ambient and Extreme Detail" for photography. I really enjoyed myself and looking foward to the next one. Thanks to pasangan pengantin, semoga jodoh berpanjangan dan dimurahkan rezeki. Thanks again to Saiful and Udey.

finally after years of procrastinating...i finally bought a handphone...this is my first official handphone...ever n___n; ...it's a SonyEricsson K320...it fits my budget, cam+video phone under rm500...altogether i got it for rm450 with the simpack, data transfer/usb charger cable and screen protector kat lowyat plaza...so no more spending la for next 3 months kot T___T... ni some of the "virgin" shots i took...

Zuiko Legacy Lens...

My bro pakai camera since last week...mmg agak resah a couple of days tak dpt menembak...
Org ramai byk complain about Olympus nye system sbb lenses dia mahal giler...Zuiko Digital lenses esp yg ada ED mmg cost a tonne...kalau nak beli sure kena jual sebelah buah pinggang punya... n___n;
Tapi ada alternative lain...gunakan legacy lenses together with OM-mount adapter...walaupun terpaksa gunakan everything manual for fokus and exposure...ada something appealing menggunakannya...ada some different sensation when you know the photo you took is all depending on your skill as a photographer...kalau anda seorang hobbyist these lenses mmg best utk dipakai...
My favourite lens now (it's older than me, you know)...
Yayah membuat experiment physics on her hammies kot... n___n;
Yayah with one of her 10 hammies... n___n;
Mmg syok pakai lens lama ni...so throughout this week nak praktis pakai only this lens and mahirkan pakai manual fokus...Maybe nak beli magnifier eyecup, sbb susah nak buat fine focus...
