My second cousin's wedding buat di Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar. First time try buat wedding. Byk benda dpt belajar esp penggunaan flash...I use old Vivitar 2800D on some shots and some just built-in flash on the Olympus E500. I just watch and learn how the official photographer do his work. You really need to be fast, furious and be able to anticipate as the whole event unfolds.

Follow my mom beli bahan-bahan utk makanan rombongan ke JB Ahad ni...
Pakai Olympus C5050Z...ISO400, M Exposure, MF, Spot Mtring, RAW (sbb byk different light temperature)...Tapi malas nak alter WB so jadikan BW je...BW with noise lagi menarik nampak... n___n
yg di tengah itu keretaku...
adikku yg bongsu mahu beli popcorn...
suasana pasar malam...
pilih bang...jgn tak pilih...
try gak "shoot from the hips" ala-ala lomo tapi ntah not my taste n___n; i need to think before i shoot...heh

Le Tour De Langkawi Stage 9 Putrajaya-Seremban

Pergi solo je, my lil bro malas nak bangun. Cuma bawak camera and kit lens 40-150mm, nak try constraint myself to practice shooting with only minimal gear, heh beg pun tak bawak. The other constraint I'm applying myself is shooting guna manual exposure and spot metering.
I took lots of pre-race pictures. When the time almost 11am terus gerak cari spot mana photographers lain port. Rupa-rupanya all of them stationed dekat Exit Dataran Putra. Saw Mr Che Mat, Mr Bazuki & Mr Badris. Best dpt tgk diorang shooting. Memula everybody duduk lepak-lepak, borak-borak, the instant dgr bunyi wisel terus diorang scramble ambik position memasing and start shooting.
Walaupun matahari sgt terik dgn hardly any cloud coverage, I had lots of fun and learn a lot. In addition, dpt jugak demam and my skin complexion now underexposed -1 stop n___n; No pain, no gain, right?

Solat Jumaat di Masjid Putra...

I went to my campus in the morning sbb igt nak jumpa Head of FA Dept regarding some matters on my studies...tunggu sampai pukul 11 tgk tempat parking kosong aje...Dgn rasa baran aku terus pegi Alamanda for brunch and do some reading kat MPH...Later went to Masjid Putra utk solat Jumaat...I bought my cam but not in the mood for photography sbb it's noon, 0.5/8 cloud coverage, harsh lighting and very hot...snapped these pics below...the last time i took photos of the mosque was like 2 years ago kot n___n;
kat campus...i'm on the way to the library, patah balik to snap sbb nampak cam menarik je n___n;
heavily photoshopped...pakai lens corrction and tambah the moon to balance the composition...although not much perspective, i like the feel of scale in it...

i remember an oil painting at mandarin oriental hotel kl (the conference room hall), a painting of zapin dancers on a huge canvas, the style is pretty much like this...anybody know the name of the painter?
