Team Japan @ MIFC07 - Merdeka Eve

Bertolak dari rumah around 10pm to catch the 12pm fireworks display by Team Japan @ MIFC07 and inconjuction with Malaysia Merdeka 50 celebration. Every single road heading to Putrajaya were congested with traffic. I planned to shoot the fireworks display from across the lake from PICC near Cyberview but I was at the flyover bridge near SKMM and Cyberview Lodge when the show almost starting due to the insane traffic jam. I manage to park by the roadside and setup my tripod before the show starts.
These are my first fireworks photography. My first few shots were not that good using the kit lens since my spot was quite far. I had to use a manual OM lens, Tokina 135mm to get some decent photos with tight composition.

I personally think fireworks photos are best shown with a distintive landmark building or a cityscape to suggest scale...a lesson learn spot a better spot next time and be like 6 hours earlier prior to the show starting time and ride a motocycle to get out of the traffic jam...heh...

Happy Father's Day

Bestnye dpt off-day hari ni. I got to celebrate Father's Day with my family.
The person yang diraikan pada hari ini ialah Wan Abdul Hadi b W Abu Bakar, my father.
My father is the most independent, intelligent and creative person I have known my entire life. His the DIY guy who can do everything around the house on his own. Just name it, electrical, plumbing, gardening, car repairs.
Growing up I see him as a firm and authoritative father, but as years goes by I see him more as a person rather than an authority in the house. A person full of wisdom and intelligence.
